Hammes was engaged by the City of Allentown to develop a major urban revitalization project in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The redevelopment zone, located along the downtown riverfront, encompassed approximately 125 acres and one city block. Key to the development was the PPL Center, an 8,500-seat hockey arena and entertainment venue. As developer, Hammes represented the City, development authority and private investors.
