Hammes was engaged to serve as Foxconn's master planning partner to lead the planning and development of its 3,000-acre Wisconn Valley Science and Technology Park (WVSTP) in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin. The WVSTP is aimed to foster technology investment and scientific innovation and has the potential to become one of the largest business park projects in North America. Its aim is to foster technology investment and scientific innovation that go beyond Wisconsin and the Upper Midwest, to eventually reach all parts of the United States, by drawing local and regional talent and leveraging best practices and Foxconn’s expertise and network globally to create a robust AI 8K+5G ecosystem. WVSTP will serve a catalytic role in the research and development of advanced manufacturing processes and technologies in education, medical and healthcare, entertainment and sports, security, and smart community, among many others.
