Jon Hammes
Jon Hammes is Chairman and CEO of Hammes Healthcare, as well as a managing principal and Investment Committee member of Hammes Partners.
Jon is the founder of the Hammes platform and launched Hammes Healthcare in 1993 to apply his extensive management and real estate experience to the healthcare sector. Prior to forming the Hammes platform, Jon was a Managing Partner at Trammell Crow Company, responsible for managing its operations in the Midwestern United States and Canada, and a member of Trammell Crow’s management board.
Jon has substantial experience serving on the board of directors for healthcare institutions including as Trustee and Past Chair of the Medical College of Wisconsin, the third largest private medical school in the country. Jon also serves as an Emeriti Trustee of Marquette University, a Board Chair of Teach for America, and a Board Member of the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce. He previously served as Director of the University of Wisconsin Foundation and Director and Chair of the State of Wisconsin Investment Board. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Master of Science in Real Estate and Investment Analysis from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
