Richard Galling
Richard Galling served as president of Hammes Healthcare from 2003 to 2016 before joining its board of directors. He is considered a national leading expert on the planning and development of hospitals and ambulatory facilities, having personally directed the development of more than 100 facilities over a 25-year period.
Earlier in his career, Richard was the Director of Development for the Henry S. Reuss Federal Plaza and the corporate headquarters of Northwestern Mutual Life and served in the same capacity for the University Place mixed-use development in Charlotte, North Carolina. He is a graduate of the Milwaukee School of Engineering and currently sits on the board of several Milwaukee-based organizations including the Milwaukee School of Engineering and the Milwaukee Rescue Mission. He also serves on the board of the Three Harbors Council - Boy Scouts of America.
