Hammes celebrates VHC Health Outpatient Pavilion ribbon-cutting ceremony

Milwaukee, WI, June 15, 2023 – Hammes Healthcare, a leading provider of consulting and project delivery services, is honored to celebrate the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new VHC Health Outpatient Pavilion in Arlington, Virginia.

Construction of the new 250,000-square-foot outpatient pavilion began in 2019 with the goal of expanding VHC Health’s outpatient capacity and improving access to care. The new pavilion is adjacent to VHC Health’s main campus and offers numerous outpatient services, including surgery, women’s imaging, pharmacy, an outpatient lab, endoscopy and physical therapy. A new 1,700-car parking garage was also constructed in conjunction with the new Outpatient Pavilion, increasing accessibility and expanding parking for the entire campus.

Hammes was engaged by VHC Health initially to develop options that would support the system’s goal of expanding ambulatory access to patients on the main campus. Hammes worked closely with VHC Health leadership throughout the approval process and has served as project manager for the last seven years.
